About

I am a Web Developer/Visual Designer located in Crosby, Texas. I have 30+ years of experience in the real world of design and development. I am self-taught in all things computers, design, graphics, and code.

I believe in Free software (also known as Libre). "Free software" means software that respects users' freedom and community. Roughly, it means that the users have the freedom to run, copy, distribute, study, change and improve the software. Thus, "free software" is a matter of liberty, not price.

Free/Libre software allows the community we all live in (the human race) to expand, change and service the community's needs. It enables people to help people as a collaborative effort. Whereas propriety software focuses on monetary gain before all.

I specialize in the planning, design, and coding stages of responsive websites, user interfaces (UI), streamlining of the user experience (UX). I've designed thousands of ads during my history for use in online marketing.

I believe that the importance of how a website, application, or ad appears, must be balanced with how well it performs loading on devices. I believe in lean code, web standards, accessibility, usability, and semantic code. For more information on the skills I posesses visit the knowledge page.

I was born in New York City, raised there; and later moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1993. Crosby, Texas has been my home since 2007. I am no longer fond of cities like I was back when I was hanging out in Times Square in New York City. I like the quiet now, the slow life, and the relaxation I can enjoy working from home permanently since 2017. I am into all things Tech, Geek, GNU+Linux, Graphic Novel, Books, Woodworking and spending time with with my wife in Crosby, Texas.
